- If it reads: https://absa.co.za, the site is SECURED, YOU CAN TRUST IT WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
- The secret is S at the end of HTTP.
- EFT – Electronic Fund Transfer – Perfectly safe as you will be either using online banking or cell phone banking.
- Credit card Payment – It is safe only if you don't give away your credit card number because anyone can use it if they get hold of your card number or actual card.
- Third party payment – There are number of these and the leader is Paypal. On their safety, please follow SECURE/UNSECURE site principle.
